Bars registered before the runs (chain file launch record, commit
8fedec7): derate fraction improves, pe_p99 < 0.2, coverage >=
0.99, completed. Metric definitions = run_mission.analyze
(gates evaluated on the operational window, t > 90 s startup to
completion).
| run | derate frac | pe_med | pe_p99 | coverage | completed | t_complete [s] | ze_p99 (info) | nu_jump ctx (info) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| r0 incumbent (rs 0.55) | 0.644 | 0.0712 | 0.1651 | 0.9981 | True | 1070.8 | 0.0549 | 0.9210 |
| rs 0.45 | 0.766 | 0.0922 | 0.1644 | 0.9981 | True | 809.2 | 0.0463 | 0.8864 |
| rs 0.40 | 0.637 | 0.1018 | 0.1586 | 0.9978 | True | 762.6 | 0.0495 | 0.8938 |
Adoption is the USER’s call (re-pin consequences per pre_risk.md §3b); this verdict only applies the registered bars.
The buried headline is completion: rs 0.40 finishes the helix 29% faster (1070.8 → 762.6 s) with pe_p99 −4%, ze_p99 −10%, nu_jump −3%, coverage ≥ 0.99. By the protocol’s printed ranking (gates → pe_p99 → completion → dwell) it DOMINATES the incumbent.
The derate FRACTION is a denominator artifact here: both derated steps and total steps shrank. Absolute derated time: incumbent ≈ 0.644·(1070.8−90) ≈ 631 s; rs 0.40 ≈ 0.637·(762.6−90) ≈ 428 s — a 32% cut the fraction metric hides. (pe_med rose 0.071 → 0.102: less crawling = the reference moves faster; the gate metric is p99, which improved.)
The screens reversed on the full helix (round-3 lesson, now enforced by the registered full-helix bars): the 200 s southern-cap screens showed derate → 0.000 at rs 0.45; the full helix shows 0.45 WORSE overall — the reach demand varies pole-to-pole (the Jun-8 “no static geometry tracks it” finding, reproduced at the standoff knob). A static corridor trades bands; a PHASE-VARYING corridor is the v2 idea, and the parked 6-DOF schedule-κ oracle re-registration is exactly the instrument to design it offline (speed × standoff was always its grid).
±2% probes (AMENDMENT 2) — rs 0.40 is ROBUST:
| variant | derate frac | pe_p99 | ze_p99 | coverage | completed | t_complete |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| −2% (0.882) | 0.619 | 0.1581 | 0.0492 | 0.9969 | True | 775.9 |
| nominal (0.90) | 0.637 | 0.1586 | 0.0495 | 0.9978 | True | 762.6 |
| +2% (0.918) | 0.685 | 0.1586 | 0.0495 | 0.9976 | True | 753.5 |
All gates pass at all three speeds; pe_p99 is nearly speed-invariant (0.158 flat, vs the incumbent’s 0.1651/0.1703/0.1660) and completion stays 753–776 s. Not fragile by the protocol rule. The adoption case is complete — dominance at nominal plus robustness under ±2%. Adoption itself is the user’s call (one deliberate re-pin of all 5 baselines per pre_risk.md §3b, the Jun-10 ceremony).
